Hello bloggers :)

Hi! My name is Allison Stroud, and I am apart of the team that will be traveling to Mombasa this summer. I thought I would share a little about myself. I am a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, but I am originally from the Fort Worth Texas area. I have absolutely loved my first year of college so far. A friend told me about this opportunity a few months back, and I was a little hesitant. I wanted to make sure God wanted me to go, and that it wasn't just my desire. Luckily I felt God leading me to go!  I don't think words can describe how excited I am to go and share my faith and love with these people. God has done some extraordinary things in my life, and my hope is for others to experience those moments of pure love and joy to God. That's just a little bit about myself.  I  wanted to post a blog about how excited I am for the work God is already planning for our team to do, and I can't wait to update y'all on more exciting things . Please pray for all our preparation!

God is Good, All the Time!

I just wanted to share with all of our supporters, that we received our first donation yesterday through this wonderful blog! I can not wait to see other donations flow in and support different team members!

Again, I am so blessed to have each one of these beautiful and wonderful individuals on the team. Not only are they growing in this experience, but so am I, which is so exciting!

I pray that all of you get to see Kenya through the eyes of each team member and I hope you support them in their walk with Christ. Thanks for all that you guys do! Encouragement from our supporters is well needed and I am blessed to know that we have A LOT of love and encouragement!

:] This is my first blog type of anything!

So, I am pretty excited we have access to blog. I never have had one before or don't know if I really care to get one. I shall use this as a test! My heart is overflowing with excitement! This trip is already showing that God still truely provided miracles. Last week and the beginning of this week, I wasn't thinking too much about the trip and was just kind of bland, but then Jenny sent us an email reminding of this trip, the people we will be interacting and sharing God's word with, and just the fact that there are these 12 people that are willing to let God use them to travel across the world and do whatever is his plan is for them.     :]   This just made my week and now my thoughts are revamped toward God and this plans He has in the future for me.  Jenny, you are doing a great job as a leader. Keep up the excellent work.....

This summer, we will be traveling to Mombasa, Kenya to work with Real4Christ Ministries.

We will be traveling from July 7- July 22, 2011.
